Carolyn Shapiro / The Arthur Termebula Trio / The Hot Skillet Club

7:30 PM Carolyn Shapiro

Carolyn Shapiro is an old-time banjo player and songwriter from the Southern Adirondacks whose music feeds the soul like a home-cooked meal. Blending a deep-rooted traditional style with a modern perspective, she pushes the boundaries of the banjo with songs that explore the complexities of being human. On stage, her hypnotic picking and commanding voice are grounded by a warmth and vulnerability that makes every show feel intimate.

Though originally on the path to law school, Carolyn’s trajectory changed the moment she picked up a banjo in college. Carolyn found her voice while working at Caffè Lena, honing her craft at their weekly open mic before emerging as a standout in the folk scene. Since then, she has released two EPs and was named Folk Artist of the Year for the New York Capital Region in both 2022 and 2026. Her highly anticipated full-length studio album was recorded this winter at Freda Recording in Tennessee and is set for release this fall.

8:00 PM The Arthur Termebula Trio

Arthur Terembula is a country blues interpreter. He writes and reimagines the songs and sounds of Piedmont blues, ragtime, jug bands and delta blues.  Arthur reinvigorates the voices and stories of American blues.

9PM The Hot Skillet Club

The Hot Skillet Club is a New Hampshire trio with a jazz/western string flare—“three voices, one sassy sound.” They mix silky three-part harmonies with sock-rhythm and warm walking bass lines, plus sweet violin fills and fiery solos, drawing from vintage charm (Great American Songbook and Western Swing era).
