Cuchulain is a low-voiced songwriter with a wry wit. Featured four years in a row as the NPR Music Tiny Desk Contest "Desk of the Day," the multi-instrumentalist's duets album FEAT was called "an as-yet-unpublished portion of the Great American Songbook." Cuchulain's deep baritone and clever lyrics have drawn comparisons to Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, and Randy Newman. From the Kennedy Center to the Oregon Country Fair, from Club Passim in Boston to the Cobblestone in Dublin, Cuchulain's lyrics have brought laughs and tears to audiences across the US and beyond. He has shared the stage with renowned folk acts including Ira Wolf, Jeffrey Lewis, Viv & Riley, Billy Keane, Upstate, Julianna Zachariou, Jenner Fox, R.O. Shapiro, and more. His Sing In The Shower single release tour took him to Europe in the summer of 2022, and his nationwide My Dog single release tour criss-crossed the US in summer 2023. His experimental album Minute To Win It - a visual album of 20 songs in 20 minutes - peaked at 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify; was screened at the Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation, & Technology and Portland Panorama; and won awards at the Oregon Short Film Festival, the San Francisco Arthouse Festival, and Minute Madness Toronto.

8:00 PM Yann Falquet and Julia Friend
Julia Friend and Yann Falquet come together around a shared love of traditional song and tune, with a focus on the interplay between voice and guitar.
Julia grew up in the world of unaccompanied singing. Based in Brattleboro, Vermont, she feels at home both leading songs in a room full of people and performing on stage. She has taught at folk camps and festivals, co-authored the Country Dance and Song Society’s Folk Singing Starter Kit, and helped launch Youth Traditional Song Weekend. She also plays banjo.
Yann is one of the most active guitarists in Québec’s traditional music scene. After studying music and exploring different styles, he found his path through Irish music and developed a strong connection to open-tuned acoustic guitar, especially DADGAD. He has brought that approach into Québecois traditional music, shaping a distinctive style of accompaniment. He has performed with artists such as the Seamus Egan Project, Hanneke Cassel, Lena Jonsson, and collaborated with musicians including Olov Johansson, Liz Carroll, Bruce Molsky and many more.
9:00 PM Still Hill
Formed in early 2016 and hailing from the woods of central Vermont, Still Hill plays a unique blend of progressive bluegrass dipped in folk, Americana, and old time roots music. Members include Rob Lees (guitar and vocals), Niles Franc (bass, banjo, harmonica, and vocals), Jen Freise (fiddle and vocals), and Cody Williams (mandolin and vocals). Still Hill’s original songwriting, instrumental improvisation, and 3-part harmonies will make you hoot, holler, dance and leave you wanting more each and every time.
